The author has written an excellent source of the early history Provo including the Provo Indian wars, Indian troubles, famine, pioneer life, the rivers, lakes, Brigham Young Academy and University, fraternal societies, clubs, Military organizations, sports along with its political affairs, public institutions and much more. A fine copy bound in dark green cloth lettered in gilt, spine lettering gilt, no names or plates. An excellent sharp cornered copy with one tiny rub mark to upper joint.
