London: Henry G. Bohn, 1861. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 972pp in one volume. Original brown blind-stamped cloth, gilt title to spine. Front and rear covers split and loose at joints, but holding on. Covers worn at corners, spine cover loose and chipped, binding shaken. Owner's name and date (January 1868), on front endpaper. Other than a few smudges and short tears to endpa;ers, interior is quite sound. A voluminous account of The French Revolution by a former prime minister of France.
