New York; (1970): Chelsea House Publishers. Octavo. 2nd corrected edition. (the first had to be withdrawn because of some typographical errors). 567 pages, 10 p. publisher's catalog. A masterful work on the history of logic by the scholar whose writings became a major influence after World War II (his work on Contemporary European Philosophy included his critique of Marxism which led to influencing the German Constitution in the 1950's). His earlier expositions of analytical philosophy were condemned by the Dominicans who required he limit his time to logic not theoretical philosophy which led to this masterful work. A near fine copy bound in dark blue cloth, spine lettering gilt, bookseller's ticket. A clean bright copy.
