The twelve plates illustrating An Academy for Grown Horsemen are signed, H. Bunbury del - Rowlandson scul and are dated June 11 -1808. The plates illustrating the Annals of Horsemanship, except the first & fourth, are signed H. Bunbury del - Rowlandson - scul. And have Teggs [? ] -, dated May 4, 1808. Sunned spine which, nevertheless, remains bright and rich-colored; one small scuff in one of the floral compartments. ; 3/4 leather - dark brown covers with gilt borders; and rich tan, sunned spine with raised bands and gilt floral and bordered compartments and lettering. Marbled endpapers. Frontispiece with tissue guard depicting whimsical characters, and Source and Mouth of the Thames, and First and Last Bridge over the Thames.
