Rust pebble-texture cloth with spine title gilt.Frontispiece is a folding sepia lithograpic view of Belfast; condition of this plate is near fine. All maps, plates and 2 heliotype plates are present. Folding facsimile of Chadwick's 1768 Plan facing page 66 present, but torn along the upper left corner, where it had been tipped in. 19th century gift inscription on ffep. Minor wear to spine edges, and lower corners. A very attractive copy, uncommon in this condition. Williamson 10,719. Thompson 426.2. (We also have Volume II published in 1913 - inquire).
