Waltham Saint Lawrence: Golden Cockerel Press, 1922. Hardcover. Orig. yellow boards with red cloth spine. Backstrip paper label. Very good. 44 pp. 8vo, mostly unopened. Limited edition, copy 258 of 500. Coppard's first book of poems and the seventh book of the press. This was the first book in which separately numbered copies were issued. The book contained several printer's errors which the author says, "moved me at the time to a desperate horror. Alas for those enthusiasms of youth -- they make me giggle with laughter now!" CHANTICLEER:I 7. Spine nicks head and foot.
