London: Quartet Books, 1980. Cloth. Very Good. FIRST EDITION. Large 8vo, incl. b/w plates. Original maroon buckram, spine lettered in gilt. Pushing to spine ends, dusty top edge. Else, clean and tight. In the original dust jacket: spine gently sunned, toned and a little soiled, light edgewear. A pleasing copy of Wolff's second memoir. Very good/ very good Charlotte Wolff, M.D. (1897-1986) was a German Jewish psychologist and physician, lesbian and feminist, who worked on hand analysis � here, she recounts analysing Virginia Woolf's hands � and later sexology, publishing the pioneering Love Between Women (1971) and Bisexuality (1977).
