London: John Murray, 1855. 2nd Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. SECOND EDITION 1855. VOLUME TWO ONLY (LACKING VOLUME ONE). Original debossed decorated purple cloth with gilt lettering spine, original pale yellow coated EPs. Clean covers, some sunning spine, EPs paper cracked at hinges but binding is not loose or broken (holds tight), no restorations, old owner bookplate on front pastedown with other owner name penned beneath it otherwise no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, minor fore-edge foxing, no foxing on pages, solid binding. The book measures 202mm tall x 130mm, and has 345 pages, 38 b/w engravings. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL SET BEING OFFERED.
