Herein this prolific Swedish explorer recounts and illustrates his early travels in Tibet. Faded reddish cloth adorned with nice gilt illustration on front. Backstrip lettering rubbed but legible. Prior owner's name stamped atop front free endpaper. Half of blank page prior to index missing. (The lists of illustrations and maps suggest neither were attached to this page.) Heavily worn with numerous defects.
