Original red cloth, color photo inset on front cover, gilt lettering spine. FINE condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, tight binding, clean, no foxing. Book measures 222mm tall x 153mm, and has 204 pages, 48 b/w photos, 12 sketches. Text in french. The experiences of author's pioneer flying of ski-fitted plane in the Alps, developing glacier & snow landing techniques, & accounts of rescues of climbers & skiers involving daring glacier landings.
