Tipped in black-and-white photographic frontispiece of the Henry Handel Richardson. Plain text cover with brown writing to the front panel. Rubbing, fading and slight rust marks to the staple areas of the book. Light browning of the text block edges. A previous owner has underlined the numerous portions of the text. Previous owner's name, in red ink, to the top edge of the half title page and there is also the original bookseller's stamp to the same area. A little browning to the internal pages. A critique of the works of the Australian writer Henry Handel Richardson. Part of The Australian Writers and Their Work series under the general editorship of Geoffrey Dutton.
