Slight wear to edges and corners of covers. 98 (2) p. w/ recipes and notes from mystery authors. An unsual cookbook, the Cascade Friends of the Library contacted numerous mystery authors and asked them for recipes. What they received back was a great variety of recipes, recommendations, and notes on what their characters liked to eat, along with many facsimile signatures of the authors themselves. . Authors reponding include Tony Hillerman, Martha Grimes, Roderick Jefferies, Joan Aiken, M.C. Beaton, Robert Bloch, Lawrence Block, Michael Bond, Lilian Jackson Braun, Tom Clancy, Barbara D'Amato, Susan Dunlap, Loren Estleman, Dick Francis, Sue Grafton, Jonathan Kellerman, Ed McBain, Peter Lovesey, Sarah Parestsky, Robert Parker, Ellis Peters (who claims she is a total loss where cooking is concerned), Scott Turow, and more. Uncommon.
