Green leather with faux basket weave stamping, red leather spine labels, gilt tooled compartments, gilt device and ruled border to boards, inner edge dentelle. A.E.G. Marbled endpapers. 325 pp. [10] double-spread plates, [2] B&W plates, B&W illustrations and head- and tailpieces in text. Rebacked with cloth, orig. spine laid down. Boards are worn to edges and joints, offset panels and sunning to spine.

Green Mansions: A Romance of the Tropical Forest is an exotic romance by William Henry Hudson about a traveller to the Guyana jungle of southeastern Venezuela and his encounter with a forest dwelling girl named Rima.
