Hardcover. Fiction. 319 pp. J.B. Lippincott, Philadelphia (1946). First Edition stated on Copyright Page. Near Fine condition with no dust jacket. Some minor soiling to cloth cover. Board corners are sharp and square. Spine ends curled, with 3/8" darker stain at bottom of lower spine end. Slight longitudinal crease in spine, not affecting spine performance. Third book by the author of "My Friend Flicka" and "Thunderhead". Produced as a movie in 1948. More photos available upon request. Shipped in a box within a box, with bubble wrap, and a tracking number.
