New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1915 Volume VII of the Homestead Edition. Absolutely beautiful quarter-bound wine-colored leather with leather corners and satin cloth-covered boards. Gilt printing on the spine. The spine head iand the top and front edges have a few small chipped places, else fine. Front and back endplates and flyleaves are an attractive marbled brown and gold paper. The frontispiece, by W.T. Smedley, is protected by tissue paper. 217 front deckled-edged, top gilt-edged pages which are clean, crisp, unmarked and uncreased, although they are beginning to show just a hint of yellowing, else fine. The binding of this Homestead Edition is so good and tight it appears to be unread. A fine collector's edition from a non-smoking household. We ship daily.. Quarter-Bound Leather. Fine/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
