New York: Orange Judd Company, 1907. Book. Good. Cloth. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. New, revised and enlarged edition. (first published 1864). Green cloth with title in gilt on spine. Condition: Good, with light shelfwear and light soiling to covers. Previous owners bookplate on front pastedown. Light browning to endpapers. 282pp. plus publishers list. The author's aim in writing this book was to make it an elementary text-book for the novice in grape culture and not a scientific treatise. Chapters include sections on growing from seed, cuttings, propagation, grafting, transplanting and pruning. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
