About This Item
The Gospel of Mark comes alive with Cole's exposition! This as-new 263-page hardback, verse-by-verse commentary in excellent condition, is rare! This is Volume 2 in "The New Testament Series" of the Tyndale Bible Commentaries. Cole has jam-packed valuable commentary in these 263 pages.
"A concise, workable tool for layman, teachers, and ministers."
The Tyndale New Testament Commentaries have long been a trusted resource for Bible study. Written by some of the world's most distinguished evangelical scholars, these twenty volumes offer clear, reliable, and relevant explanations of every book in the New Testament. These Tyndale volumes are designed to help readers understand what the Bible actually says and what it means. The introduction to each volume gives a concise but thorough description of the authorship, date, and historical background of the biblical book under consideration. The commentary itself examines the text section by section, drawing out its main themes. It also comments on individual verses and deals with problems of interpretation.
Here is an online review: "Really great commentary on the book of Mark. Very scholarly without being too heady. Great for historical background and also does a good job of presenting other ideas about a passage and providing evidence of why one perspective is preferred over another."
Very Good++. Limited markings-only 3 pages of very light notes. NO highlighting! NOT ex-Library. There is no name but there is ExLibris inside on FEP. The spine is excellent, the binding is tight and the hinges strong, with no creases. As-new tan boards with bright bold brown lettering on spine; no stains, rips, or corner bumps. Collector's quality! Perfect dust cover/jacket, no rips or tears; professionally covered with library grade Mylar. The pictures depict the actual book you will receive. (The shine/reflection in the photo is due to the Mylar covering.) Generally, ships on the same business day! Ships with Tracking Number! Countries other than the USA will require an additional shipping cost.
