London: Constable & Co, 1955. First edition. Hardcover. Very good+/good. Gilt stamped blue cloth boards in dust jacket, octavo, sparsely illustrated in b&w. Book has mild shelfwear to boards and spine, binding tight, mild soil to endpapers, text clean and unmarked. DJ has chips and tears at edges, rubbing and wear, now in archival mylar wrap.
