Elkhorn, Wisconsin: Self-published, 1887. Embossed cloth. Very good/No Jacket. 316p. Signed by compiler Frank Leland under his portrait, and the same hand captioned the two additional photographs. Burgundy cloth with gilt spine titles and gilt and black cover titles and decorations, decorative endpapers, all edges marbled. Cover edges worn, a clipped poem on newsprint has yellowed portions of pages 252 and 253. A collection of Hattie M Perkns Leland’s poetry and writings, including Wisconsin people, events, and history, as well as world events, letters, and her thoughts on events throughout the country and the world. A scarce piece of Wisconsin history. 3 b&w plates and frontispiece. (7-7/8"x5-3/4")
