California Centennial edition, which is different from the 1944 two volume edition of Bruff's work. Our number 1408, is the second volume of the 1944 edition. This book is the result of 15 years work by the editors. text unmarked. Colors vivid. pages clean and print clear. The dust jacket has seen some wear. The front flap is squished at the bottom. Piece missing on top front spine. Edges all show wear. the bottom of spine is missing a little bit of paper. The tile, subtitle, editors nad publisher are in a black with gold gilt inlay.
