About This Item
Branston's review of the mythology of the Vikings, Angels, Saxons and Jutes and how it has impacted language, culture and later traditions.
An excellent copy. See photos, all of which are of the actual copy for sale. Pages are bright, clean, unmarked and with no foxing or staining at all. Only defect is the neatest small rectangle cut from the base of the title page (see photos ) for unclear reasons but probably to cut out a stain or similar. Otherwise, pages are flawless. DJ is unclipped and intact with just some very minor chipping and wear, most evidently on the top edges and rear top, and a little at the base of the spine. A little creasing at rear top DJ. No spine fading. Cloth boards are clean and tight. A really nice copy and rare in this state. All now covered in professional, removable clear covering. 318pp illus
