The poem tells a romantically fictionalized story of the First Crusade with Christian knights, led by Godfrey of Bouillon, fighting to liberate Jerusalem from the Muslims. In Near Fine Condition: lacking first leaf, the series title page, of book 1 (the series title page of book 2 is present); occasional light foxing; otherwise a clean and very attractive copy.
