New York: Doubleday Doran and Co, 1952. First Edition. Octavo. 447pp. A novel set in Texas. Edna states "This is not a story of Texas today (1952) but, I hope Texas tomorrow". A movie source with stars such as Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor, Dennis Hopper and of course James Dean and others. A very good copy bound in black cloth spine lettering silver, in a very good unclipped dust jacket with light wear to spine ends, one corner bumped, edges and corners, rubbing and two tiny closed edge tears to rear panel.
