Tape residue strips to front and rear board edges, affecting front and rear free endpapers. Mild shelf/edgewear to extremities. Dustjacket very good. No tears but bits of tape residue and light discoloration to jacket folds. Now mylar protected. Seven black and white illustrations. 191 pp. Clean, tight, bright. The story of the black stallion with many names. He was called Pahute by the mustangers, others called him "The Ghost", the Apache called him "Horse of the west Wind". "He was steel-blue in coloring, with flint-like eyes, and a mane and tail of silver. He was truly a horse of the darkness, and haunted the Badlands for many years.....," (front flap).
