Text block age darkened, minor rubbing to lower edge of front panel, a little tanning to spine edges, small closed tear at upper right rear corner. (4947). Small octavo, pictorial wrappers. Paperback original. Story collection, contains the classic story "Daniel White for the Greater Good." These stories are mostly social commentary, not speculative fiction. This book was a major boost for Ellison as it was favorably reviewed in Esquire by Dorothy Parker.

Synopsis
