London: Michael Joseph Limited. Brown Cloth. 135pp. A lovely copy of this first edition. Bound in brown cloth with silver embossed lettering to the spine. Decorations to the start of each chapter. Light bumps to the head of the spine and to one corner and slight bump to the tail of the spine. The book is surprisingly fresh and clean. No inscriptions. Slight normal age toning to the pages. Dust wrapper is not price clipped. Slight toning to the spine of hte wrapper. There is a little chipping to the head of the spine of the wrapper and to the head of the front panel of the wrapper for 0.5cm x3cm. There are several short tears of no more than 0.5 cm from the wrapper edges, all now expertly repaired, except one which has been repaired with acid free archival tape to the reverse of the wrapepr. There is some light creasing and rubbing to the head of the wrapper. A well preserved book in a good wrappper. . Very Good. 1946. 1st Edition.
