Handsomely bound in full green pebble grained morocco lavishly decorated in gilt, raised bands with compartments full gilt decorated, gilt decorated turn-ins, all edges gilt, pale yellow endpapers. From the library of F.C. Adams, author of The Siege of Washington D.C. , Our little Monarchy: Who Runs It, and What it Costs and other with his signature dated 1857.
