Scarce and excellent copy of the first edition of a more magical Freddy the pig adventure, in which a former magician's rabbit teches him the tricks of the trade. 7.75'' x 5.25''. Original red cloth boards with yellow illustration to front board and yellow titles to spine. Original unclipped color pictorial dust jacket ($2.50). Black-and-white frontis with nineteen full-page black-and-white illustrations and half-page black-and-white illustrations to the head of each chapter. Pictorial endpapers of a magic show. [6], 258 pages. Small ink scribble to upper corner of front flyleaf. Dust jacket has slight edge wear and small repair to front hinge of spine, small spots to upper corner of front board near spine. A bright, clean copy.
