Book Club Edition from 1965 of the author's 40th Ellery Queen title, with same jacket design by Abner Graboff as the first edition, in Fine condition: bright red cloth-covered boards lettered in black. Binding strong & straight, pages creamy white & unmarked with a hint of tanning. The unclipped DJ is VG, with mild foxing along front cover fore edge, light soil & a short tear to back cover; nicely protected in nonreflective mylar cover.
