Washington D.C. Published by the author. 1938. Bound in full varnished beveled buckram boards with elaborate gilt tooled morrocco label to front cover and spine. t.e.g. Folio. This book designed and printed by the deeptone process at The Lakeside Press, in a limited edition of 2500 copies, of which 750 copies contain the special color plate listing subscribers names. This copy inscribed, signed and dated by the author in ink to the front free endsheet. Brilliantly illustrated with full page colour plates and further by full page monochrome plates and vignettes en texte. This copy one of only 750 which bears the special folding colour plate listing subscribers names at rear. Short vertical fold along a portion of fore-edge of special plate, else a Fine bright pristine copy of this exceptionally rare limited and inscribed edition. Encased by a Fine original publishers slipcase.Featured Misc.
