Corresponding 1937 dates to the title and copyright pages; no additional printings. Illustrated with full and partial-page line drawings by John Gram. 70 pages; illustrated endpapers. A story for young people, designed to explain the necessity of coastal lighting devices for ship safety. A volume in the Our Changing World Series. The cloth shows light wear, with the spine darkened (probably a combination of sun and soil). Spine lettering is not affected. Former owner's name and date to the front free endpaper, otherwise unmarked. Hinges solid; binding square. A sound copy, with foxing on several pages. . Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall
