Fore-edges of binding each show two small dents. Otherwise appears unread. Text block is tight and clean with no ownership markings or bookplates. Bound in full (genuine) leather with hubbed spine. Embossed in 22kt gold on the spine and front and back covers. Heavy duty binding boards. Printed on acid-neutral, archival paper with gilded edges. Smyth sewn with concealed muslin joints, and permanent satin ribbon marker. Collector's Notes sheet laid in. Photos are of the copy we have at Barbed Wire Books. A lovely gift copy!
Synopsis
Final Blackout is a dystopic science fiction novel by author L. Ron Hubbard. The novel is set in the future and follows a man known as "the Lieutenant" as he restores order to England after a world war. First published in serialized format in 1940 in Astounding Science Fiction, Final Blackout was published in book form in 1948 by The Hadley Publishing Co. Author Services Inc.
