Writers and Readers Publishing Cooperative, London, 1978. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Good. Illustrator: Oscar Zarate. 250 g.; VIII, 96 pages, last three pages blank, intentionally. Blue and white illustrated endpapers and black-and-white illustrated internal text by Oscar Zarate. Blue coloured boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. A little bumping to the lower backstrip edge and rubbing to the book edges. Faint browning to the text block edge. Coloured illustrated dustwrapper and black-and-white illustrated rear dustwrapper panel again by Oscar Zarate, with purple titles to the front panel and black titles to the backstrip. Black-and-white photograph of the author to the rear fold over panel. Rubbing and chipping to the top dustwrapper corners and rubbing and creasing to the backstrip edges. There is a similar .75 " tear to the top right-hand corner of the rear dustwrapper panel. There is also a 1 inch tear to the top left-hand corner of the rear dustwrapper. The story of an old man, a cruise ship, families and of magic and of lost loves. Digital is available upon request to help assess condition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
