Full tree calf by Riviere & Son, with 5 raised bands, gilt titles to olive green label to spine, gilt decoration to compartments and gilt border to boards; all edges marbled with matching marbled endpapers. Spine lightly sunned and corners slightly rubbed. Armorial bookplate to front paste-down; no annotation or inscriptions. Handsome prize binding of the expanded collection of popular phrases from a multitude of authors including Shakespeare, George Washington and Sir Isaac Newton. Heavyweight so a contribution towards increased postage will be requested for overseas delivery.
