New York: D. Van Nostrand Company, Inc., (1928)., (1928).. Good. - Octavo, olive green cloth titled in gilt on the spine. The binding is lightly rubbed. The spine is slightly darkened with the gilt titling partially rubbed away. xiii, [1] leaf & 155 pages plus 2-page publisher's catalog. Illustrated in black & white with 15 plates, including a frontispiece, a folding geological table & numerous textual and full-page drawings [maps & diagrams]. Two small pieces of tape adhere to the top edge of the rear endpaper with light offsetting to the previous page. Good.
A nice association copy. Inscribed by Henri Vidal to J. B. McMorran, the Chief Engineer of the Power Authority of the State of New York who worked on the Niagara Power Project.
Henri B. Vidal [1901-1999], retired district manager of Westinghouse Electric Corp.'s Industrial Group and longtime member of the Buffalo Club, requested that his ashes be put in the Niagara River to go over Niagara Falls.
