Eight page text intro in German, four page contents and ten loose plates, some in colour, contained in the original portfolio. Page size ;- 30.5 x 21 cm. c.12 x 8.1/4 inches. portfolio slightly soiled / rubbed /creased but sound. contents fine. Signed and dated by Kokoschka "Xmas 73" in pencil.

Four-color offset lithograph on paper. [28⅛ x 23¼ in. (71.4 x 59.2 cm)], one of a printing of 4,000. From a series of four works titled "Column" the others were named Column no. 2 (Picasso 90), Column no. 3 (Chile-F), and Column no. 4 (IB-affair). The title refers to the work's likeness to newspaper columns: full of facts, but a colorfully cartooned map of textual facts. The artist's signature is reproduced in the lower right. Discoloration to white edges, else very good. Still very pleasant to the eye. All posters are presently stored between acid free boards, flat, under weight. They will be shipped rolled, in tubes.

Litho poster, [29 x 23 inches].Very good, some rippling, light edge wear. The poster features an aerial image of Manhattan (credited to Skyview Surveys) with several bold arrows pointing at the northwest corner of Union Square. The Underground disco was located in the basement of 860 Broadway, just above Union Square on the east side of Broadway. Warhol's Factory was also present in this building at the time. The poster lists events to take place the week of and on the day of the Gay Pride March on Sunday, June 27, 1982. No exemplars found in collections or in trade. All posters are presently stored between acid free boards, flat, under weight. They will be shipped rolled, in tubes.

Aspen, CO: Aspen Bookshop / Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies / Jargon Society, 1968. 1st edition. No Binding. Very Good/No Jacket (as issued). VG. Rare letter-sized announcement printed in black on white stock, folded for mailing. While the year is not given, the date suggests this was from 1968 (presumably the referenced Cape volume was delayed). A bit of toning and general wear.

Collection from family trip in 1952 includes original letter from Cunard Line Agents' Bulletin C-16 dated 6/14/52 in very good condition. Two brochures from the Caronia, one artist signature is G.H. Iavis. One book printed in England, one is printed in U.S.A. and the letter is from New York. Minor scratches and wear for the age and the First Class tag for the Cunard White Star Limited to Southampton, First Section is intact with the oriingal string. Finland: Independent International Picture Corp, 1956. 1st Edition 1st Printing. No Binding. Fine. A very striking and uncommon, standard Finnish A2 cinema-used poster for the 1954 big-game hunting documentary, Africa Adventure, which follows a safari in East Africa led by famous hunter Robert Ruark. The film was released in Finland in 1956 with no subsequent theatrical runs. This poster is not a re-issue or a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related. This particular poster measures 61cm x 40cm and was printed by Fotopaino Oy. The poster is in Near Fine condition with one small tear (less than half-inch) to the right edge and a short nick to the bottom edge. Minor creasing to the white border. There are neat single pinholes to the corners - quite difficult to detect. Appears to be a rolled poster with no definite folding creases. A very striking image - almost lithographic quality - in fantastic condition for a cinema-used poster.

Finland, 1950. 1st Edition . No Binding. Fine. An original and extremely scarce Finnish A2 film poster for the Roy Rogers movie THE GAY RANCHERO. This poster is not a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related The film was screened for the first time in Finland in May 1950 and there were no further theatrical releases. A very rare treasure of movie memorabilia. Printed in Finland by Piiropaino Oy, the legendary Finnish printers. Signed at lower right corner by the designer (in the plate or stone) Measures 24.50" x just under 17.50" approx. A truly remarkable example - thin paper stock as you would expect from the era, it has been stored flat for decades but even so retains its original fold lines to centre in both directions. No pin holes and no tape residues to verso, however. Despite its fragility there are no nicks or tears to the edges but there is one very small chip (with loss, therefore) to the top edge towards the left. Fine or very near it. Finland: M.G.M., 1960. 1st Edition . No Binding. Fine. A terrific Finnish A2 one-sheet, cinema poster for the French-Italian movie of 1959, The Giant of Marathon (aka Battle of Marathon). The film was first screened in cinemas in Finland in 1960 with no subsequent releases of any description. This poster is not a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related. This particular poster is a standard size 23.5" x 16" approx. It is in fantastic condition - unfolded and with no chips or tears to the edges - one small crease upper right corner. This is a cinema-used poster and there are pinholes but this is in really Fine - or better - condition. Beautifully illustrated and artist signature in the plate. A stunning example of vintage cinema art and design.
