Philadelphia: Henry Altemus No date anywhere in book, but research gave it at 1895. Beautiful green quarter-bound cloth on spine with gilt imprinting and illustration. Front and back cover is a beautiful off-white cloth with intertwined flowers and leaves. The corners and edges of the front and back have been bumped and rubbed through the cloth. The spine head and heel have been bumped and starting to fray. Staining/soiling on the front and back covers. The inside has two previous owner's signatures on the flyleaf and a small amount of writing on the front pastedown. The 149 pages are clean, crisp, unmarked and uncreased, except for a crease at the bottom right-hand corner of page 115. A good book from a non-smoking household. Pictures available upon request.We ship daily.. Quarter-Bound. Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
