U.S.A.: George Banta Publishing Company, 1917. 2nd Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Very Good, cloth with gilt lettering on spine and cover. No DJ. Stamped "2nd Bn. Hqrs. 304tth Inf. not to be taken from these hqrs" inside front cover. Some pencil marks on upper right corner of front paper. No markings or creases otherwise. Topographical map of Gettysburg-antietem is still present and in good condition inside rear cover envelope. This is the second edition 1917 which had been improved "to incorporate the principal changes in the art and science of Field Artillery occasioned by the present European conflict.
