About This Item
NY, Experimenter Pub. Co., June 1917. Periodical. pp. 81-160, illus.; 30.5 cm. America's entry into World War I in April 1917 is noted in this war issue. The cover, and a story at p. 90, proposes a bizarre plan for "Electrocuting the Enemy," Wilson's executive order nationalizing all wireless stations. Articles include: Talking Motion Pictures via Wireless; the Use of High-Frequency Currents in Medicine; The Naval Radio Operator; Electricity and Water To Run Our Autos. The ads are revelations and there are notes of thing that have lasted (motorized sewing machines) and ones that never had a chance (electric cradle rocker). Stock#OB1055. Good; water stains in irregular places suggest spills.
