Brockport, NY Boa Editions, 1979. Paperback First Edition, so stated. First Edition, so stated. Very Good+ in Wraps: shows indications of very careful use: light wear to extremities; mild rubbing to wrapper covers; binding square and secure; text clean. Remains close to 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. 68pp. Foreward by John Logan. New Poets of America Series. Paperback. As John Logan says in the introduction to the book, this is a poet who creates bonds with the reader, a poet of rich imagination and startling imagery. This poems are as true today as when they were written in the1970's and this poet has gone on to produce more good books and works judging from the reviews she's received from fine poets and critics from every school and literary persuasion. Galway Kinnell asserts that she is a "visionary and powerful. Tremendous vitality. A gifted and graceful writer." Nona Balakian calls Gioseffi "One of the finest poets around.... Her work overflows with poetic vision. Nothing is ever pretentious or done for effect. She has achieved what the surrealists hoped."
