About This Item

Putnam & Co., London, 1939. Book. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. First UK Edition (first printing), utilising the same English-translation as the American edition which appeared the same year. 8vo. viii, 470pp. Dark red cloth lettered in gold at the spine. A minor slant to the binding and a touch of bruising to the backstrip ends. Some quite minor blemishing and soiling to very occasional leaf margins. A good copy in poor dust wrapper, which is nicked, creased, torn, chipped, darkened and excessively price clipped (impacting a little of the front flap blurb)..
