Although the text is largely in English a 90 page listing of the ephemera with a short description in Chinese is also included. Handsome cloth binding, colour plate laid down upper cover, a very attractive thick volume in cloth slipcase. 31.7 x 24.7cm. In as new condition in its original card box. Catalogue of an exhibition held in the second half of 2011 at the University of Hong Kong entitled "Early Hong Kong Travel (1880-1939): The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited, Benjamin W. Yim and Louis Vuitton Collections". Packed with information this is an absolutely beautifully designed publication reflecting the luxury and class of travel for many to Hong Kong during the period. .
