New York: Dodd, Mead & Co., 1939 This book is in exceptional condition. Beautiful blue binding with gilt lettering and illustration on the spine and cover, NOT rubbed or bumped. Clean as a whistle. The dust jacket is gold with blue illustrations and lettering on the front, back and spine. It is NOT price-clipped, but there are a couple of open tears, a small one at the head of the spine and a larger one at the bottom middle of the front. The author/illustrator has signed it, "Aloha Don Blanding on the 1st blank page which is the one following the flyleaf. The endplates are beautifully illustrated and the fly leaf has a small gift inscription and the date Dec. 25, 1939. 142 pages that are pristine, clean, unmarked and uncreased. Many beautiful illustrations This is a real collector's copy from a non-smoking household. Pictures available upon request.. We ship daily.. Signed by Author/Illustrator. First Edition, 1st Printing.
