Baltimore: Meyer & Thalheimer, 1909. Second Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Gold cloth with gilt lettering and decoration. Front board has round color image of a woman surrounded by gilt border. Illustrated with frontispiece photo of author and several plates. Covers are worn/soiled with a stain on back board. There is an ink name on the pastedown and a penciled tracing on the tissue guard opposite the frontispiece - otherwise unmarked. Minimal toning. Binding is tight except for one detached plate. A unique, attractive volume. Full refund if not satisfied.
