Edge and corner worn; no dj; scuffed and scratched; edges and corners are discolored; corners are bumped and rubbed; some shelf wear; front hinge is cracked; former owner's name and address plate is affixed to the ffep; overall a nice collectible used copy! Wonderfully preserved for its 100+ year age! Green cloth with black lettering and illustration on the front board and spine. 239 very clean unmarked and uncreased historical and adventure-filled pages of text and 6 wonderful pages of historic black and white illustrations! "The stone house stood boldly out against its background of tall trees, and the yellow foliage through which the sunlight sifted served to show the rugged grandeur of porch and stairway, of balcony and turret. The woodbine vied with the elms and maples.
