About This Item

New York: Saml. Gabriel Sons & Company, 1911. Near fine in very good box.. Lovely large paper doll and four stylish outfits in original box - a beautiful example of an early 20th-century paper toy. The doll wears a white frilly chemise with blue ribbon and has blonde hair. Her 4 costumes are: a green coat with fur muffler, a white fur coat, a blue sport outfit with lacrosse stick and a floral fairy costume. The hats match the dresses. Quite wonderful. 14.25'' x 4'' (doll); 16'' x 7.5'' (box). Chromolithograph paper doll, four outfits, and three hats, all on card. In original pictorial box. Box with edgewear and tape repairs, a bit of rubbing; some flattening. Doll with careful reinforcement to verso of neck, outfits with tabs folded. Bright and intact.
