Bright red cover has a few minor spots, light rubbing to extremities. . Author was an American journalist, novelist and screenwriter. He wrote more than 30 novels, several of which were based on the American Civil War; he won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1956 for his novel Andersonville, Diversey is his first novel, set in Chicago in the 1920s, where Diversey was a major street. Tight, square, pages exceptionally clean and bright. A handsome copy of Kantor's first novel. Lacking the dust jacket. . 8vo 8" - 9" tall. F3 .
