About This Item
First edition hardcover with dust jacket, published by Atheneum, 1967. The dust jacket has been protected by a clear, removable, library quality cover, so there is a minimal amount of wear, it is not price clipped, minimal edge wear at the heel of the spine, a bump mark to the right side at the fore edge, a one inch closed tear at the bottom left on the back of the jacket. Beautiful red and orange cloth covered boards with the author's name and title imprinted on the cover and spine, sewn binding. 269 pages. There is a former owner's name and address ink stamped on the last ffep, about one inch wide and half inch tall. The only other writing is a number written on the first blank flyleaf, six digits in blue ink, about an inch long. Yellow topstain does not appear faded. The text pages are clean, the edges of the text block are clean, the binding is tight and square. This is the sequel to 'The Light of Day', featuring Arthur Abdel Simpson. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory. We have several Eric Ambler novels listed.
