Le Caire (Cairo): Imprimerie du Journal "Al-Mahroussa". Fair with no dust jacket. 1890. Hardcover. 338-764 pages. In French and Arabic. No title page, bottom page indicates Habeiche and title, bibliographic details match the 1890 2 volume edition as notes. Large 8vo Dark brown leather spine and corners, spine has 4 raised bands with gilt ornamentation and Arabic title. Spine is scuffed and rubbed, leather corners mostly worn away, scallop embossed black cloth boards are a bit worn, back board has a scar and cloth missing at edge. Interior green paper end papers have numerous owner inscriptions from the 1940s, black hinge reinforcing, paper is quite browned, a bit of humidity staining at the top edge starting at about page 730, otherwise clean and unmarked. ; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall .
