A big, tall, Imperial octavo format copy, being a stated First American Edition, in black cloth over boards, with sharp and distinct copper lettering to spine, bright and clean of interior, the faintest of smudging to bottom page tips. Protected in a Gaylord dust jacket protector, fully intact, only mildly worn, but moderately sunned along edges. Fine line drawing endpapers front and rear. Several score black-and-white illustrations. Volume contains scholarly apparatus in the form of, e.g., notes, index, and bibliography. xxiv [2], 3-616 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
